A Commitment to a Safe and Respectful Event

The World Ringette Championships are a celebration for the entire international ringette community. We are committed to ensuring that everyone can participate in the event safely and respectfully.

The event follows safer space principles, which emphasize respect for others, zero tolerance for discrimination and harassment, and the right for everyone to participate as themselves.

A designated harassment contact person will be present at the championships to ensure all participants can enjoy the event without fear of harassment or inappropriate behavior. This individual acts as a confidential support person who can be approached if you experience or witness harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct.

The role of the harassment contact person is to listen, offer support, and help resolve situations confidentially. They do not make official decisions but serve to promote a safer space and act as a trusted conversation partner. All discussions are held in confidence, and you decide how to proceed.

Thank you for helping us create a positive atmosphere!

How to Contact:

The harassment contact person is available during championship week:

  • November 8–9: By phone and on-site (identifiable by a special vest)
