The main arena of the World Championships has received a new name today and will henceforth be known as Wemasto Arena! Wemasto Oy, a second-generation family business from Orimattila, have signed a significant naming agreement and as a result, the Lahti ice rink will now bear the name Wemasto Arena.
According to Wemasto, sport brings people together in a way that is comparable to the business world: with shared goals, perseverance and ultimately success. The name change of the hall reflects Wemasto’s commitment to supporting local sport and the community. Sport unites people through emotions, encouragement and togetherness – the same values that Wemasto also cherishes in its own operations.
